About the project
A supplier who wants to respond to an ANWB tender signs in to PinkPortal, sees which tenders they've been invited to and fills in their answers. The portal keeps no tender data of its own. Everything comes from PinkPro over a secured REST integration and goes back the same way, so there's only ever one source of truth. Between them, the two apps are the digital process ANWB's Procurement department uses to create tenders and have suppliers complete them. The whole thing was delivered in October 2026, after a full year of development.
What I built
I contributed to the integration and the functionality. The front-end is mine: I designed it and built it. What makes that tricky is that plenty of suppliers only open the portal once a year. Every screen has to explain itself, because nobody remembers how it worked last time.
Key features
Secure sign-in
with two-factor authentication through an authenticator app (TOTP), and password recovery for anyone who's lost theirs.
Tender dashboard
the open tenders in one list, each with its deadline.
Questionnaires
with multiple-choice and open questions, and room for documents on each question. Everything saves automatically.
Questions and answers:
suppliers can ask questions about the content, and the answers come back in the clarification note.

What I learned
- 01
Building a thin client: the portal displays and submits, but all the data comes from one source system over REST.
- 02
UX for people who only drop by now and then:: clear steps, autosave and deadlines you can't miss.
- 03
Securing a public portal: , with MFA and strictly separated data.
